About the Author...
Jesse MacWilliams, a pseudonym, grew up in South Carolina always wanting to be a mystery writer. MacWilliams took creative writing in school and wrote often. MacWilliams became a police officer to get funds to finish college. After spending time as a patrol officer, MacWilliams became a detective for the county sheriff's department. This experiences translates well into many of the creative plots found in MacWilliams novels today. Upon finishing college, MacWilliams began working for a Fortune 500 Company and had the opportunity to travel the world over.
After a time in the business world, MacWilliams wanted to become a forensic pathologist. After years of study and working as Medical Examiner, MacWilliams began the lifelong dream of writing mystery novels.
MacWilliams has four shih tzu dogs. Three of the pets inspired the pen name: Jesse, Mac and the problem child, Willie. MacWilliams now lives in the US Virgin Islands and hopes to make writing a full time career. Although MacWilliams writes strictly fiction, many of the characters and events in life have influenced the unique writing style and inspired the intriguing plots so believeable they could easily be today's headlines.
